only sampled 1 tree of one species in 1 location

water availability? - tape test tube to trunk to collect rainwater, each tube must b left for
sme amt of time, sme sampling height, sme days of year, tubes collected @ sme time +
covered to prevent evaporation, measure water content by mass/vol
predation/infection? - is it prey, can it be infected

position, e.g. north/south facing aspect? what
factors may influence its distribution?
