being (Lawler, 2021). Having good self-care habits can improve self-esteem and reduce

anxiety and stress (Lawler, 2021). This can lead to healthier relationships with both yourself

and others. !|
One way I can increase my professional resilience is by developing a healthy sleep

routine. The strategies I will implement to achieve better sleep: 1) Take a hot bath or shower
!| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !|
to begin my night-time routine. 2) Turn off all devices that emit blue light at least 1 hour
!| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !| !|
before bed. 3) Read, color or crochet to relax before bed. 4) Stick to a healthy bedtime and go

Sleep is one of the most important ways to restore your mind and body (Nunez and

memory (APA, 2013). This means tasks can be completed faster, more thoroughly and with less

mistakes. Implementing and sticking to my proposed strategies for better sleep will make me

more productive and energized when at work.
