1. Stage 1 HTN 140--99
Certify 1 year --> 3 months if not fixed w/in a year.
Certify every year if fixed.
2. Stage 2 HTN Cert 3 months.
May recertify q1y if fixed.
3. Stage 3 HTN Do not certify.
May certify if fixed q6m.
4. Vision 20/40 Snellen in each eye.
Qualifica-
tions 70 degrees of horizontal field in each eye
recognize: red, green, amber
Chart is 20 ft away
5. Monocular Vision 20/50 or worse in 1 eye only (missing an eye)
Disqualifying w/o ophthalmology eval form.
Must have Vision Eval Form MCSA-5871 then have DOT exam w/in 45
days. Requires:
-pass test in good eye.
-stable vision
-suflcient time passed since deficit to allow for adjustment
Max 1 year
