-Prior hx of similar events
Unique trait to note for LVAD PT's - They do not have a pulse
Treatment for Stable Wide Complex Tachycardia - 150mg Amiodarone IV/IO over 10
min.
Treatment for snake bites - Allow PT to lie flat and avoid as much movement as possible
Drowning Arrest - In Water: Start rescue breathing/ventulations
Out of water: Begin CPR, dry PT and apply AED/Defib pads and check rhythm
High Fever (over 100.4 - Call Sepsis Alert
Angioedema - Contraindication of Albuterol
Best practice for peds on ventilator - Use caregivers as reference
Peds PT's on ventilator with DIB - Disconnect ventilator and give high flow o2 via BVM
Peds Nerve Agent Exposure - Peds require more than 1 Mark One Kit
