Que. What is balancing equation??
• Ans. A balancing equation is a
chemical equation where the number
of atoms of each element is the same
on both sides. It follows the law of
conservation of mass. We balance it
by adding numbers (called
coefficients) in front of the formulas,
without changing the actual
substances.
• Example:
Unbalanced: H₂ + O₂ → H₂O
Balanced: 2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O
