Unit 6: Website Development Assignment 2
Tittle: B Design a website to meet client requirements C
Develop a website to meet client requirements
Problem definition statement requirements: "Hot Beans" is a company that builds
websites. They want to hire a junior to help make their website better. This person will
create a special part of the website to show why it's a great place to work. They need more
web developers, so they want to tell people about the induction and training they offer.
These following features must be included:

• A profile of the company itself
• profiles of existing trainee web developers
• Job specifications and required qualifications
• an on-line application form
• links to web development courses

Benefits: Having a website has many benefits for "Hot Beans Web." They can promote their
brand to people all around the world, reaching more types of customers. This costs less than
advertising in newspapers, on the radio, or on TV. Also, if other websites link to theirs, it can
bring in new customers faster and without spending too much money. This might help them
make friends with other businesses that think like them. Plus, their website is always
available, so people can visit it anytime they want, which is great for the people they want to
reach.

Nature of interactivity: When a website is interactive, it means users can do things like click
buttons, fill out forms, or play games. This makes their experience more personal instead of
just looking at a webpage. "Hot Beans" can use this to help users find what they want and
make content that matches what people like.

Purpose requirements: Hot Beans Web wants to make it simple for website developers to
join their company. The website is aimed at people who have finished training in web
development and want a job in that field. Hot Beans wants to tell these potential employees
about the company's background, values, and what they need to become a web developer
at Hot Beans.

Principles of website design:

,• Typography: The fonts you use on your website are important. They grab people's
attention and show what your brand is all about. Make sure the fonts are easy to
read and try not to use more than three different ones on your website.
• Navigation: Navigation on a website is like a map that helps visitors find what they
want. It's really important because it keeps people interested and staying on the site.
If it's hard to find things on a website, people will leave and look somewhere else. So,
it's important to make sure the way you move around the website is easy to
understand. Make it simple, easy to use, and the same on every page.
• Accessibility: making websites, tools, and technologies in a way that anyone,
including people with disabilities, can use them easily. It's about making sure
everyone can see, understand, move around, and interact with the web. They should
also be able to add their own content to the web if they want to.
• Site layout: A site layout is like a plan that decides how a website looks and works.
It's important because it organizes information for both the website owner and
visitors. It makes it easy for people to move around the site and highlights the
important stuff.
• White space/spacing: White space is the empty area in a design where there's no
stuff. It might seem like nothing, but it's actually really important. It gives the design
some breathing room, so things don't feel crowded. Also, it can help draw attention
to important parts of the design.
• Usability: Usability is all about how easy it is for people to use a website. Sometimes,
websites can look really nice, but they're tricky to move around in. This can make it
tough for users to find what they're looking for.
• Alignment: Alignment is about making sure things line up neatly in a design. It helps
organize stuff, group things together, and make everything look balanced and
structured. When things are aligned well, it makes the design look clear and sharp.
• Clarity: Clarity is super important because it helps people understand things better,
which makes them feel more connected and interested. When things are clear, it
builds trust because people know what to expect. It's like showing your cards so
everyone knows what's going on. Testing what you're saying helps make sure
everyone gets the message right and avoids any confusion or misunderstandings.
• Consistency: Consistency is really important in website design. It means things
should look and work the same way everywhere on the site. So, if you use a certain
font or size for one thing, you should use it for all similar things. This makes the
website look neat and organized, and it's easier for people to understand and use.
• Accuracy: It's important that the information on a website is accurate. This means
everything should be spelled right and written well. Also, the content itself needs to
be true and researched properly. This makes sure that visitors can trust what they're
reading and understand it easily.

,• Content: A good website needs two things: a nice design and great stuff to read or
look at. When the words on a website are interesting and persuasive, they can make
people want to buy or do something. So, having both good design and good content
can turn visitors into customers.
• Media and objects: This could mean links to web pages or other files. When a
developer adds a web page link or a related file to a form, it shows up as part of that
form.
• Simplicity: Keeping things simple is the best approach when you're thinking about
how easy it is for people to use your website.

, Feedback.

• Design 1 it doesn’t looks modern and it’s doesn’t have much content.
• Design 2 although it’s kind of looks modern but it’s looks not nice, the header looks
broken.
• Design 3 it’s looks modern and attractive therefore I like to choose design 3.

Obtaining and using feedback
