STAT 201 - Project 2 - Spring 2019

1. This report is an analysis of a survey taken by students at the University of Tennessee in
Spring 2019. This analysis was completed on March 6th 2019. The last two digits of my student
ID number are “09,” so, in order to have a random and unique sample, I included nine additional
responses to the sample size of 600. For this reason, the sample size of this report is 609. Each
of the following graphs and tables are unique to my sample size of 609.
2a. I have chosen to analyze Q65, “Did you lie at any point on this survey?” I decided to look
deeper into this question because it affects the validity of all of the other questions in the survey.
This variable is interesting because it will reveal many potential factors about the survey such as
if there were questions that students felt uncomfortable answering, or if there were unhonest
students participating in the survey. I believe this question can speak volumes about both the
content of the survey and those who responded.

, 3. In the following decision tree, I am not including identifier variables nor qualitative variables
with several levels. These variables include Q0 - Original Number Identifier, Q14 - Major, Q28
