DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) - a form of therapy used to treat borderline
personality disorder that combines elements of the behavioral and cognitive

Motivational Interviewing - a collaborative, person-centered form of guiding to
elicit and strengthen motivation for change

that encourages clients to accept, rather than attempt to control or change,

Schizophrenia Diagnostic Criteria - A: two or more of following symptoms:
delusions, hallucination, disorg. speech, grossly disorganized or catatonic bx
(pos. symptoms), negative symp. (restricted emotion, dec. thought and speech,
lack of motivation and initiative, inabil. to relate to others)
B: disturb. in one or more areas of function (work, relationships, self care, etc.)
C: continuous signs of the illness for 6 mo. incl. at least one month of symp.
