3 rules to remember about scheduling ultrasounds Correct
Answer -If scheduling an appointment for a future date
(tomorrow morning) there is no need to call the US tech. But if
scheduling an appointment on the same date, you must call the
US tech to make them aware of the appointment
-When scheduling an appointment on the weekend, always use
the next available time slot to prevent the tech from having to
drive home or waste time between studies
-For TAUC 1 walk-in pts during times when the US tech is
present, verbally notify them and they will fit in the pt
All EKGs must be... Correct Answer labeled w/ a pt sticker
scanned by the front desk staff after the provider signs the EKG
BP Recheck Correct Answer Found on main tab under vital
signs and IV management; utilized if the pt's BP is abnormal and
requires a recheck (It's helpful to put a specific time in the notes
section of this order to ensure abnormal results can be addressed
before the pt is discharged)

Example: NSR, 82bpm, nl axis, nl intervals, no ST-T segment

utilize to ensure that transfer pts have all relevant info ready to
accompany them to the next medical facility w/o delay; 3 pre-
