Love vs. Obedience
The experience of silence as a representation alludes to praise from outsiders and to
depression for oneself. Communication being intricate to attempting and refining. For one to live
in sorrow, forgetting the ability to be a person. The silence, a reward, for speaking, is
incriminating. A feeling of love, warmth, safety, and liberty against compliance. Obedience,
colliding with an order, or demand to/from another. As one tries to understand growth, there’s a
reminisce of not knowing the difference between love & obedience.
THE DARK
Through development was the misunderstanding of why communication was the root of
solving problems. For a relationship to prosper, breakthrough something known or uncertain, and
communicate with oneself for discovery. When trying to ask a question from sheer innocence
was thrown back with personal anger, silence was the solution. Communication caused
controversy and negative responses. As one tries to continue, a cycle develops. There were no
more tears, no more curiosity, and no desire to resolve. Avoidance, self-figuration, and
independence became pedigree. Obedience to silence, the two became one. The desire to abide
by the past, due to no longer desiring to wait patiently or a love that never arrived.
