Learning mediator A good teacher will resolve learning barriers in a manner which is sensitive to the diverse needs of the learners, including those with barriers to learning. Example: In a diverse class, the teacher will group the learners accordingly. That way, she will recognize the learners who are struggling and who have barriers to learning. 2. Leader, administrator and manager The teacher has to manage learning in the classroom and carry out classroom administrative duties efficiently. She must have leadership qualities. Example: Even though there was a lot of work and things to do, the professional teacher managed her schedule very well and kept her admin work in order. 3. Interpreter of learning programmes and materials The educator will understand and interpret provided learning material. Example: When the students in the class do not understand explanations from the textbook or any other learning material, the teacher will have to simplify and interpret the learning material so that the learners have a better understanding of the subject. 4.
