Part 1. The games and terms (50)
The history of, reasons for and results of Creative Arts education, as well as the full arena or
map of it and how these helps develop children intellectually, socially, emotionally and
aesthetically.

Design fun, original and interactive creative arts games to teach terms
Design TWO original creative arts games. Each game should deal with a formal element. For
example, one could be about colour and the other about space. Another could deal with acting
techniques or proportions, musical scales or stagecraft.
Stick to one art form (i.e., drama, music, dance) in each game.
Each game should teach learners at least three related terms appropriate to their learning in the
Intermediate Phase.
