read or listened to your selected text.
This could be used later in the same lesson or in another lesson. You can use the vocabulary items
you have selected for pre-teaching or make a different selection. The vocabulary must be from the
text or clearly relevant to the text.

Aims Help students understand the word formation, spelling, usage, and
pronunciation.
1. Give each student the worksheet and a dictionary.
2. Explain the instructions for the activity.
3. Set a 15 minutes time limit for individual work.
Teacher’s Instructions 4. Students answer each question using the dictionary provided.
5. After answering, the whole class repeats the words for pronunciation
improvement.
