Counter Intelligence Strategy: -two pronged approach as part of a comprehen-sive CI strategy that feeds more effective CI functions Offensive: activities can include exploitation, penetration, degradation, disruption,deception, and neutralization Defensive: activities can include detection, identification, and assessment, protec-tion and other countering activities 3 / 13 4.
