‘Parcels ‘R’uss’ is the business that Russ has started to support himself. There are businesses that will
ask Russ to deliver parcels locally, such as Preet Singh's’ flower shop. Russ now has his friend Steve
helping him with his business. Russ knew that he would need more people helping him and know
has a team of six. Initially Russ kept very few records other than scribbled messages in his old note
books; this is not very practical at all. Russ really wants his business to become a success and follow
all the required legislations. Russ knows some of the things required for this but needs help.
Questionnaire for Russ:
Please answer all the following questions truthfully and to the best of your ability to ensure that the
best system can be recommended for you and your business.
1. How do you currently record the deliveries that you and your company carry out?
2. How many different businesses do you deliver for a week, on average?
3. How many deliveries are completed each day, on average?
4. Do you, or any of your workforce, know how to use a spreadsheet or database system?
5. Are you and your workforce able to use other Microsoft Office software with ease?
6. How many people will be able to access the new system?
7. Do you have an idea on anything you specifically want the new system to be able to do?
8. What kind of budget do you have for a new, improved system?
9. When do you want this new system need to be implemented by?
10. Is there anything else that you think I should be informed about?
