P4; Use marketing research for marketing planning.
The business I will be using for this assessment is Villiers High School. Villiers is
a non-profitable government organisation that provides educational services to
students aged 12-18 and is classified as a state school.
Market research is a method of gathering information about the market in
which they operate in or want to operate in. Businesses do this to understand
the correct method to introduce new products and services into markets and
meet customers’ needs and wants.
Villiers High School use market research to understand if their students are
enjoying their school, it is important for Villiers to know this information as if
students aren’t enjoying their subjects or time at school, they will struggle to
learn and eventually not pass their final exams.
