ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
ADHD is a collection of behavioural symptoms that involve; impulsiveness, inattentiveness and
hyperactivity. Symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder have a tendency to be detected at
an initial age and often becomes much more conspicuous when circumstances within the child's life
change, for example, when they commence education. A majority of cases of ADHD are established
when children are aged between 6 and 12. The symptoms involved with ADHD frequently improve with
age, however, numerous adults who were previously diagnosed with ADHD as children continue to
experience issues. Individuals with ADHD may also experience further issues such as anxiety and sleep
disorders.

The symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder within children and adolescents are distinct,
and frequently detected before the child turns 6 years of age. These symptoms of ADHD ensure in more

 Hardship with arranging tasks
 Frequently changing tasks or activities
 Having a short span of attention and being distracted easily
 Performing unconcerned mistakes
 Hyperactivity and impulsiveness
 Inability to remain still, particularly in quiet or calm environments
 Unnecessary talking
 Reduced or no sense of endangerment

 Inability to contemplate tasks
 Inability to wait
 Performing actions without thinking about consequences

Issues like these can instigate considerable issues within the child or adolescents' life, for example;
inadequate social interaction, disciplinary issues and underachievement.

In adults, the indicators of ADHD are much more challenging to identify. This is essentially due to the
privation of research into ADHD and adults. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a progressive
disorder and it is considered that ADHD is unable to develop in adults without it primarily developing
