Scenario 1:
Walking through the account’s office in your first week, you overhear one of the accountants telling a
customer that they are raising a complaint just to get free items from the company. You also see the
accountant slam the phone down on the customer. You are not sure what the call is about or what the
customer said to the accountant.
As the new assistant in the office you are still getting to know all the staff and what is expected of you.
You are unsure of what to do in this situation.
Option 1: Report this to the financial manager
Option 2: Talk to the accountant
Option 3: Do nothing
