She has stopped completing her homework and refuses to participate in the extramural activities she used to thrive in. There is a school counsellor who works from a house on the same street as the school. During break time one day, Mrs Smith takes matters into her own hands. She asks Sally to go for a drive in her car so that they can chat. She drops Sally off at the school counsellor down the road instead.
