To be clear, when we speak about the ECD teacher, we mean not just a
formally qualified teacher in the Foundation Phase, but also the primary
caregivers, namely mothers, grandmothers, older siblings, and practitioners.
Give THREE (3) reasons why it is important to see parents, caregivers, and
others as teachers too. (3 X 1) (3)
2.3 Read the passage below, and answer the question that follows.
Maria Montessori believed that children should be given tools that work as
part of their preparation for the real world. For example, children should use
proper sharp knives, hammers to hammer nails, and real glass jugs for
pouring juice.
