The Bronze Age is the second of the three major periods in the Stone-Bronze-Iron system. A civilization is classified as being in the Bronze Age if it produces bronze by smelting its own copper and alloying it with tin, arsenic, or other metals, or if it trades for bronze from other production zones. Bronze is tougher and more durable than other metals available at the period, providing a technological advantage to Bronze Age civilizations. The creation of the earliest writing differed between Bronze Age societies. The oldest practical writing systems were established in Mesopotamia and Egypt, according to archaeological evidence. It takes place between 2,500 and 1,500 B.C. More complex societies are created than in Neolithic populations. Bronze was found in India, Iran, Armenia, Egypt and Sumerian. The Aegean Sea is an exclusive space for bronze trade. 2. Iron Age  The Iron Age is the final epoch in humanity's three-age divide, which began with prehistory and protohistoric. The Iron Age lasts a different amount of time depending on the locale. Locally, the "Iron Age" begins when iron or steel production has progressed to the extent where iron tools and weaponry are superior to bronze counterparts. Tutankhamun's meteoric iron dagger, for example, dates from the Bronze Age. This transition occurred in the Ancient Near East in the aftermath of the so-called Bronze Age collapse in the 12th century BC. The technology expanded quickly across the Mediterranean Basin and into South Asia. It took a little longer to expand to Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and Central Europe, and Northern Europe wasn't reached until around 500 BC. The Iron Age ends with the commencement of the historical record. The title "Iron Age" is frequently applied to early cultures that practiced ironworking, such as the Nok culture of Nigeria. It develops from 1,500 B.C.This metal is used to make weapons and tools.The Hittites were the first to use iron in 1,300 BC.Being harder than bronze, new metallurgical techniques had to be developed to work it.
