Activity 1
A project that lies dear to my heart and that I would like to shine attention on and
bring to life focuses on promoting Self-love and taking care of your own needs
and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Meaning not settling for less
than what you deserve and also alleviating suicidal thoughts among teenagers,
workers, and parents. This organization will be called the Self-worth Love
Foundation (SWLF).
The resources needed to kick start this project would first of all be the emotional
stability and wellbeing of the workers. We would deal with extensive, emotional,
and sometimes gruesome scenes so we will need people who are passionate,
loving, caring and who are willing to carry the burdens of others. The second
recourse would be on psychological wellness. We want our employees to know
how to deal and treat different types of people in their different types of
situations. Our third resource would be medical assistance. Medical services such
as a professional psychologist who would be required should circumstances lead
to severity. The fourth resource would be the time and money of our workers and
sponsorships, for without them we won't be able to get this organization off the
ground.
A safe space or as one would say a safe haven will also be needed. This could an
office area/ room space where our patients can feel safe, loved, and feel no
stress. Last but not least, is volunteers. Volunteers to provide help and assistance
to the people who comes to out center.
