Sociological Imagination SO101 Week 1 Assignment Sociological Imagination 2 The traditional viewpoint that is being presented is Chinese Buddhism. The funeral was way different then from what my religion does. It was a two-day process. The first day started out with going to the funeral home for a viewing. You go up to the deceased and pay your respects. The casket was opened so that you could see and touch the woman. There was a video to watch of pictures from over the years and the children of the woman were standing up next to the casket for us to pay respects to them as well. The second day started out with everyone going to the church. The immediate family sat in the first three rules and then followed friend and distant family. Then there was a service where the preacher said a few things including Scriptures. Family members were called up to say a few words. And then there was a moment where whoever wasn’t called up but wanted to say something came and said what they needed to say about the grandmother. But then was dismissed by following the coffin to the hearse. We then drove behind a hearse to the burial site. After getting to the burial site there was another small service where the preacher said a few words and then the coughing was pulled down into the ground. After the burial there was a gathering at a
