❗ Stress is not evidence based, but this can lead to another risk factor.



→ Some are modifiable by behavioral or medication.

1. Diabetes.

2. High blood pressure.

3. Hormones.

4. Obesity.

5. Inactivity.

6. Binge drinking.

7. Smoking.

8. Age.

Studies: different phases:

1. Phase I: pilot study on small group without controls and looking at outcome.



❗ Looking for a potential improvement.


2. Phase II: show safety and feasibility as a base for phase III.



❗ This shows no effectiveness = underpowered.



3. Phase III: shows effectiveness.



❗ Often publication bias = not publishing because it does not give
the results you want.




MAGIC app = clinical guidelines.

Living guidelines = continuous changing and being updated.

BUT it does not tell you how to do this.




Outcomes

mRS = modified rank scale.

0 - 6 met 0 no symptoms and 6 is dead.
