The purpose of this memo is to evaluate and summarize the SMART Goals and KPIs of
our company for the executive team. The reasoning behind this is a precursor to contemplation of
a potential acquisition of a smaller aviation firm servicing the Caribbean region. Eventually, we
will evaluate the firms involved in the potential acquisition. Here, we will focus on our company.
Financial SMART Goal
A SMART Goal to focus on for our company is to continue to increase our revenue in the
Latin region. This region includes Brazil and Mexico. Last year, Latin revenue increased 6.7
percent on a 6.3 percent increase in unit revenue and a 0.4 percent higher capacity. This revenue
improvement was driven by continued double-digit unit revenue growth in Mexico and Brazil
(SNHU, n.d.). The increase in the Latin region could be improved with increased service to the
Latin speaking areas of the Caribbean region. This goal was chosen to continue revenue growth
in this region.
