Chain Rule
If y=f(g(x)), then y'=(df(g(x))/dg)(dg/dx).
Mauli Patel
when doing chain rule with trig terms
differentiate the trig term and not the parentheses
-then multiply by the derivative of what's inside the parentheses
product rule inside of chain rule
-leave the first term, multiply it by the derivative of the second terms layers
-then add the derivative of the first term multiplied by the second term
