Dear Bio 1A student,
This is a practice quiz from Spring 22. It is available until 5:10 PM on April 18. The points earned on
this quiz do NOT count towards your Spring 23 grade.
This is the second quiz for part 3 taught by Dr. Gomez. You have 30 minutes -8:10-8:40 PM. Note
that the quiz autosubmits at 8:40 PM and thus if you start at 8:15 PM you will only get 25 minutes. As
is the usual practice, you are on your honor to take this exam on your own and without
using any external resources. Adherence to this standard is important because it allows you to
honestly assess your current understanding of the material, and it allows us to assess what we have
and have not succeeded in getting across. In addition, as current or prospective scientists and health
care workers, we have an obligation for ourselves and others to operate with scrupulous honesty. For
those reasons, in support of that standard, cheating on quizzes, exams or any other work in this
course will result in an automatic F grade for the entire course, and referral to the Office of Student
Conduct.
Each quiz in Bio 1A is worth 20 points. Your lowest quiz score will be dropped.
