1. COUNTABLE NOUNS
Los countable nouns son sustantivos que podemos contar.
one apple → two apples // one book → three books
Ejemplos:
Apple – car – book – student – chair – house - friend
Pueden aparecer en singular o plural:
a car → two cars
2. UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS
Los uncountable nouns normalmente no se cuentan individualmente.
Ejemplos importantes:
water = agua
milk = leche
coffee = café
rice = arroz
bread = pan
sugar = azúcar
money = dinero
time = tiempo
information = información
advice = consejo/información aconsejada
homework = deberes
work = trabajo
news = noticias
Normalmente NO utilizamos a/an delante de ellos.

Se utiliza normalmente en frases afirmativas.
• Con contables:
I have some friends in London.
