- Not enough T3& T 4
- Too much TSH
s/s:
- Bradypnea
- Bradycardia
- Hypotension
- Fatigue
- Weight gain
- Hair loss
- Goiter
- Constipation
- Dry skin
- Hypoglycemia
- Hyponatremia
- Depression
- Cold intolerance
Treatment
- Levothyroxine – Educate this is lifelong therapy
o Monitor therapeutic ranges – increased risk for hyperthyroidism
