workforce, and emphasizing wellness and preventative approaches. The police also aimed at

resulted in the Health Michigan Plan (HMP) enactment. The HMP was birthed through the
expansion of eligibility, which allowed individuals to have insurance coverage plans. In

families from low-income backgrounds.
