• How will life be different when you achieve this goal?

• What makes this goal so important to you?

• What do you need from me to increase your chances of success?

• "How can I best help you today? What do you want to get out of your workout with me?" Aims
to build rapport, empower the client to take responsibility of their outcomes

for me?" These questions help your clients look forward to following an exercise program and
enjoying exercise adherence.

clients' feelings of reaching their fitness goals; it is a when question, not an if question. The
question also corresponds to the purpose of their goals.

question helps clients confirm that they do indeed have the resources they need to reach their
