guarantees the consistency in application to relevant facts that is necessary for the law, an essential
element of stare decisis and its subsequent application to proper fact-keeping.

Conclusion:

case. By correlating factual comparisons with rule-based reasoning, courts and advocates maintain the
coherence of legal analysis and ensure that precedent properly serves the purpose of guiding judicial
decisions.
