 Floor agents will be able to gain extensive knowledge on the products and the services
upon completion of the training program.
 Customer service skills of the floor agents will be enhanced upon completion of the
training program.
 Floor agents will be able to handle sales conversations to maximize sales and increase
profits upon completion of the training program.
 Floor agents will be able to navigate company systems and utilize tools to better assist
the clients in fulfilling their needs upon completion of the training program.


B.
I would develop a training program consist with online, in person, on the job and post training
evaluation. With online training, the floor agents would be able to absorb the material
information that they need to know to satisfy the job needs. With this training approach, they
get an undistracted time to work on training to get the maximum knowledge. By adding in
person training, it allows the trainees to personal ask questions and find solutions to the
questions they may have while in training. With this training it allows instant feedback which
helps to retain more information. On the job training provides the floor agents the opportunity
to learn from their mistakes. On the job training is advantageous mainly for the sales staff since
it’s an interactive way of gaining knowledge to be efficient in their job roles. The final approach
to their training would be post training evaluation. This helps the mentor or the management to
get a clear understanding of the quality of the training and the knowledge that the trainees
obtained from the training. This would allow the management to retain the employees who
successfully complete the training and to either demote or fire the unqualified employees.

Adult learning theory
Adult learning theory emphasizes self- concept, past experiences, readiness to learn and
motivation to learn. With the approaches I have used it allows the floor agents to be self-
motivated to get training that is needed to be successful in their position. Having multiple
training methods, makes it enjoyable rather than being boring which increases retention rate of
the information.
