Het boek is onderdeel van de tentamenstof voor het tentamen van het vak Bestuur, Politiek en Samenleving, gegeven aan jaar 1 Politicologie en Bestuurs- & Organisatiewetenschap aan de VU. Het bevat zowel een samenvatting van de tekst en een lijst van kernconcepten met betekenis.

This is a summary of the book Comparative Government and Politics by Rod Hague, Martin Harrop, and John McCormick. It includes all chapters except for chapter 5, 12, 14, and 19. It is a clear summary including all necessary terms in bold with an explanation, and including tables to make certain concepts even clearer.

Een uitgebreide samenvatting waarin alle belangrijke onderdelen goed aan bod komen en duidelijk uitgelegd zijn. Alle belangrijke begrippen zijn dik gedrukt en alle belangrijke namen zijn schuin gedrukt.

Alle relevante hoofdstukken van Hague en Harrop en verplichte artikelen voor vak Politicologie EUR. Dus geen gehele samenvatting van het boek!

Samenvatting voor Political Science. Dit zijn alle colleges en de nodige artikelen samengevat in één document. Zelf heb ik hier een 8.2 mee gehaald, dus het is zeker voldoende informatie! NOTE: eventuele wijzigingen in de stof na mijn tentamen niet meegenomen.

These are the notes on Chapters 1,3,4,10-19 of Comparative Government and Politics: An Introduction (10th edn, Palgrave Macmillan Ltd 2016) by Rod Hague, Martin Harrop and John McCormick. That means all of the required reading for Introduction of Political Science with the exception of Chapters 2,5,6-9. In this course, as it was taught in 17/18, it is however very important to lay focus on what is on the lecture slides; the book is useful to get a better understanding/explanation of the concepts...
