Accounting Ethics Movies to Review Assignment

Pick one of the movies from the attached list of movies. Preferably pick one you
have not seen before however it is more important to pick one that will provide
you enough information to complete this assignment. These movies all have some
ethical challenge(s) in them. Once you have selected a movie, you need to watch
it and then complete the following review of the movie.

For the review itself you will be creating a PowerPoint (PPT) using Microsoft
PowerPoint. You will find another attachment, label Movie Review Outline. The
outline is intended to help you to make sure you provide all the needed
information in your PowerPoint. (There is also a template attached if you wish to
use it.) Please keep in mind that while you are not presenting this to me, this
should be a PPT that could be presented. Be organized and be thorough.

Once you have viewed your movie, complete the following.
1. Open and save a PowerPoint file as MRP-lastname (using your last name)
2. Using the outline provided and the information you gathered from your
movie, put together a PPT.
3. Your PowerPoint should be at least 10-12 slides. (Some of the areas in the
outline may require more than one slide.)
4. You should briefly introduce the movie and give a brief synopsis of what
happened in it.
5. Identify and present information on the ethical issues you noted.
6. Provide final thoughts on the movie from an ethical standpoint.
7. The majority of your presentation should be a discussion on any and all
ethical dilemmas you found in the movie. If there are accounting ethical
issues great, but ethical issues, nonetheless.
a. Explain each issue as you saw it and how it pertains to our course
material.
b. Explain the impact of the issue (who, what, how much, etc.)
c. Explain if there is a resolution in the movie; if not, provide a resolution
of your own.
8. This is NOT intended to be a review of the movie.
9. Once completed, save the PPT file and then upload it using the title link.
(When you go to upload you file, in the comments section, let me know if
you have put a PPT together before or if this was your first. Thanks!)

breaks down as follows;
 Content Knowledge – 30 points
 Organization – 25 points
 Professionalism – 25 points

*Note: Be forewarned...the further down the attached list you go to find a movie,
the more the movie is likely to be unrelated to accounting, either directly or
