CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT:
What is the consumer protection act?
Protects consumer rights and provide free effective and efficient
enforcement of those rights through the National Consumer Commission
(NCC), The National consumer tribunal (NCT). It came into effect in
March2011 it covers issues such as returns, refunds, and delivery
purchases.
Aim of the consumer protection act:
Promote a fair and sustainable market place for consumer products
Improves standards or consumer information and protections
Prohibits unfair marketing and business practices
Promote responsible consumer behavior
They protect consumers from:

2. Inferior goods
3. False and misleading advertising/ marketing
