Rigter H1: Introductie

Psychopathologie de wetenschap waarin psychische stoornissen
worden bestudeerd. Richt zich op het voorkomen en
behandelen van stoornissen. Houdt zich bezig met de
theorie over psychische stoornissen, psychiatrie met de
hulpverleningspraktijk aan mensen met een psychische
stoornis.
Verzameld kennis over algemene kenmerken van
psychische stoornis (bij psychiatrie gaat het meer over
(effecten van) hulpverlening aan mensen met psychische
stoornissen).
Richt zich op de ontwikkeling en het proces van het kind
en de stoornis.
Is geen wetenschap, maar een benadering die meerdere
inzichten vanuit verschillende invalshoeken combineert.

3 belangrijke thema’s
1. Vroeger en nu
Veronderstelling dat gedrag in de loop van iemands
leven veranderd en complexer wordt (emotie,
cognitie, gedrag, lichamelijk functioneren en
gezondheid zijn allemaal op elkaar afgestemd en
beïnvloeden elkaar).
Zowel het verleden als het heden van het kind heel
belangrijk (geschiedenis beïnvloed actuele ervaringen
en actuele ervaringen beïnvloeden de geschiedenis).
Door andere ervaringen aan te bieden wordt
geprobeerd het kind te helpen zijn geschiedenis wat
zonniger neer te zetten.
2. Dynamisch gezichtspunt
Een psychische stoornis is niet statisch maar
dynamisch; je hebt er soms veel last van en soms
niet.
De verschijningsvorm van afwijkend gedrag verandert
dus gedurende de levensloop. En wat afwijkend is
verschild per leeftijd.
3. Uniek individu met unieke ervaringen
Elk kind is uniek en het gedrag wordt beïnvloed door
kind- en omgevingsfactoren en culturele en
maatschappelijke normen. Is nooit maar 1 oorzaak.

besproken stoornissen lijken?
Comorbiditeit Met welke andere problematiek en stoornissen kan
de stoornis samengaan? Iemand heeft meerdere
stoornissen. Er komt tegelijkertijd aan depressie
ook een gedragsstoornis voor bijv. Comorbiditeit is
bij kinderen/jeugdigen eerder regel dan
uitzondering.
Prevalentie Hoe vaak komt een stoornis voor?

Cultuur Kan de kans op bepaald gedrag vergroten of verkleinen. Ook
de wijze waarop normen en waarden uit een cultuur de
opvattingen van volwassenen over het gedrag van kinderen
beïnvloeden (bijv. hoe zorgelijk iemand iets vindt en of dat
reden is om hulpverlening in te zetten)

Er is geen gedrag zonder erfelijke invloed en zonder omgeving (zoals er
