, TASK DEFINITION:


The current situation /the purpose of the investigation:
The COVID-19 pandemic and its resultant impact on our lives have raised the need to adopt innovative ways of getting
education services at all levels.
We as CAT learners have been tasked to investigate and do some research in order to find out what innovative ICT
solutions have been implemented by the Education sector in response and for adapting to new situations and challenges
caused by the Coronavirus crisis. We are also going to research which transformations in response to the crisis may be
permanent, what are the positive lessons to be learnt and what creative solutions are possible.
This is all to discover more about the innovative ICT solutions or opportunities that arose in response to the pandemic
crisis and to look at how things were being done differently in the Education sector.


To complete this task, I am going to:
Create a folder that contains both physical and online resources. Then I am going to use a Microsoft Office suite with MS
Word to:
• Create document such as a report.
• Task Definition which will serve as a guideline to how the report will be set up, it will indicate all questions that will be
asked, resources that will be used as well summaries of information from the research.


Target audience:
Class tutor, learners and all stakeholders interested in wanting to know more about ICT and how it is being implemented
in the education sector.
