Measuring flow rates of fluids in tubes and other process systems are very important in the industry, especially, the chemical industry. In this report, four methods of measuring flow rate, namely, Inlet Cone, Pitot-tube traverse, Venturimeter, and Orifice Plate. All these devices cerate obstruction to the flow, and as a result a pressure drop based on Bernoulli and the continuity equation of fluid flow.
