Rounding of numbers 
Rounding is the process of reducing the number of digits in a number while 
trying to keep the value similar. Rounded numbers are less accurate, but easier 
to use. 
In this course we will be using the common method to do rounding. The rule 
for applying this method is as follows: 
• Decide which is the last digit that you will keep. 
• Increase this digit by one if the next digit to the right is “5” or more, 
and discard the rest.
