A1. Learning Goal
Students can compare and represent fractions using models and symbols, aligning
with the 3rd-grade standard 3.NS.3.
I would create a family engagement activity called fraction fun at home to support the
school. This would involve sending home a weekly activity that uses everyday items to reinforce
fraction concepts. It would include simple instructions, an explanation of a learning goal, and a
space for students to reflect or draw what they did. Additionally, I would send home the unit
study guide for fractions. I would also use regular communication tools like my weekly
newsletters to share tips and short example problems with parents. Hence, they feel confident
supporting their child at home. Additionally, students are equipped with Go, math workbooks at
home for extra practice.

The strategy is effective because it connects classroom and at-home learning, making
