She describes the pain as a constant ache in the lower right quadrant (RLQ) of her abdomen that radiates across the flank to her lower back. She rates her pain as a 9/10. She also c/o nausea and has vomited three times prior to arrival. She is febrile and c/o chills. During your initial history, Ms. Kellar tells you that she has had urinary frequency with “darkish funny smelling urine for a few days.” She also recalls a lower back ache for several days and feeling “hot and cold.”
