Source A is from the Daily Mirror, a left-wing UK tabloid newspaper. It refers to an interview that
Sunak gave during the election campaign. Sky TV is a UK subscription TV service that used to be
received through satellite dishes.
‘Strictly Debbie’ is Debbie McGee who was on the BBC TV show Strictly Come Dancing in 2017. ‘Gio’
(Giovanni Pernice) was her dance partner on the show. He was suspended from the show in 2024
after allegations about his behaviour. ‘Jude’ is Jude Bellingham, an England footballer. He had signed
a deal with social media influencer Kim Kardashian to model for her clothing website.

‘Rod’ is Sir Rod Stewart, a singer who first became famous in the 1960s. ‘Becks’ is David Beckham, a
former professional footballer. King Charles III is pictured between them. Dr Michael Mosley appeared
on TV, radio and in newspaper columns (including the Daily Express) giving medical advice. He had
died a few days before this newspaper was published.
