Nurses as members of an inter-professional community to address optimal patient care and outcomes will be examined. IX. Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the student will: 1. Articulate the importance and role of theory as it relates to nursing, research and the contribution to improving patient care in the community and tertiary settings.
