Network Topology
Bus network
- A bus is a cable that have nodes connected
- Data is sent from a node to all other node first, then stops in a
terminator
- Nodes are along the cable and the terminator is the end
- If there is a data collision, data must be resent
- All nodes in the network are connected directly to a central cable
Advantages Disadvantages
Easy to set up Slow, prevent data crash
Easy to maintain Data might be stealing
Cheap When bus damaged, the system
stops
