Linda – Act 1
o The girl that becomes the love interest of both Mickey and Edward
o Stands up for Mickey when anyone picks on him
o Always embarrasses Mickey by expressing her love and adoration for him
o Loud
o Confident and very kind
o Tries to show off to Mickey to prove herself in a way
o Is always very aware that Mickey is and always will be the one for her and that they’ll
end up together in the end (Which they do)
o Protective over Mickey against his brother and anyone else picking on him or doing
something against him
o Some sort of competition between the two boys because of how they both want to
date her, but she is more aware and in love with Mickey
o Comes from the same poor part of Liverpool as Mickey
o Daring and isn’t scared of certain things (E.g. throwing rocks at the windows with
Mickey and Eddie and the policeman comes and questions them, tries to defend the
Mickey and tries to seem in control of the situation)
o Very open about her love for Mickey in school and on the bus and in any situation
that she can express it
o Presented as quite a composed character that really tries to show off and impress
