Edward
Age 7
To show a contrast with Mickey in class his uniform would fit him well and would not be
mucky. His hair would be combed and gelled so that not a single strand of hair is out of
place. He would be wearing a white button-down school shirt, buttoned up to the top
button, with a sharp collar. This shirt would be a cotton/ polyester kind of fabric. He
would be wearing a grey short sleeved jumper that fits him perfectly. This would be
neatly knitted and sown with a woollen fabric. He would be wearing beige shorts that fit
perfectly around his knee, they would be ironed and not mucked up at all, not even
around the knees. These would be made out of a nylon fabric. He would also be wearing
a leather belt with a silver buckle around the waistband of his shorts. His socks would be
white cotton socks that go up to just below the knee. His shoes would be a brown
leather, with not a scruff in sight. He would have his laces done up and neatly tied.
Age 14
Same uniform as age 7. But he no longer wears beige nylon shorts. He would now be
wearing black long pants, ironed so perfectly that not a single crease can be seen, these
would also have pockets in the front, but Edward would never be used as Edward is too
well mannered for that. These would be made out of cotton. He would also no longer
wear a brown belt, and he would wear a black leather belt with a silver buckle on the
front. Now wears a black blazer over his jumper and shirt. Blazer would be black with his
school badge on the front breast pocket. This blazer would be made out of linen.
Age 18
Black suit pants that fit him well. Made out of linen and has two pockets on the front of
the pants. Hair would still be gelled down, but not as neat anymore as he starts to try
and be more like Mickey. He would wear a white cotton collared shirt, tucked into his
suit pants. He would also be wearing black leather shoes with tied laces. This shows how
he is about to go to university and be a law student.
Age 24
He would be wearing black nylon suit pants. Leather belt with a silver buckle. White
cotton top tucked in to his suit pants. He would be wearing a blazer over the top of his
white shirt. This blazer would be black, matching his pants, and would be linen. White
socks, cotton. Black leather shoes with laces, again tied neatly.
Edward’s costume shows and can represent how Mickey is extremely jealous of Edward
and wants to be better off and have the childhood and life that Edward had. Edward is
upper middle class and has a better education, chances and opportunities in life.
