BUS 210: Managing & Leading in Business

C.Aleksic

, Social Responsibility Efforts at SNHU Pet Supply Company

I have been tasked with the investigation of two very ethical, inspiring companies so that I may

suggest certain practices and/or changes to be made within our company, here at SNHU Pet Supply

Company. Upon investigation of both TOM’s Shoes and The Body Shop, I have learned all about their

LGBTQ, black and indigenous communities, women and children’s groups, and more. They partner with

organizations that support various causes all over the world. Another initiative they have partaken in

recently is mental health support and ensuring everyone’s access to it.

TOM’s has grown significantly since 2006, partnering with non-profits and organizations that

have similar values and ethics as their own. By partnering with so many community organizations- it

seems as though they are advertising for the good in almost every community! They are donating,

providing grants, and even volunteering with these organizations! By participating in these
