Dysrhythmia Exam
normal sinus rhythm (NSR) - ANS
Sinus Bradycardia - ANS
sinus tachycardia - ANS
Sinus Arrhythmia - ANS
Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) - ANS an abnormal heart rhythm arising from aberrant
electrical activity in the heart; originates at or above the AV node
atrial flutter - ANS baseline looks like sawtooth
Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib) - ANS
juntional rhythm - ANS rate is 40-60; no P wave or inverted
First degree AV block - ANS elongated PR interval
second degree AV block type 1 - ANS PR gradually lengthens before QRS is dropped
Second Degree AV Block Type 2 - ANS PR is constant beore QRS is dropped
Third degree AV block - ANS no relationship between P wave and QRS
Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC) - ANS p wave occurs earlier than the next expected sinus P
wave; underlying rhythm
premature ventricular contraction (PVC) - ANS QRS is wide and bizarre; underlying rhythm
ventricular tachycardia - ANS
Ventricular fibrillation (V-fib) - ANS no distinct QRS
