communities today, leading to issues like poverty,
unemployment, poor infrastructure, and inadequate social
services.
Rural development, therefore, became a central focus of the
South African government's strategies to address these

various strategies aimed at transforming the rural economy,
improving living standards, and promoting social inclusion.
